My second great-grandmother, Rebecca Jemima Ervin, has long been a mystery to me.  It was easy enough to track her through United States Census records once she married my second great-grandfather, Andrew Ballentine Beamer, on April 17, 1845 in Greenbrier County, Virginia.  Through the birth of their children, I can follow the family from Monroe County to Braxton County without much difficulty.
